TRANSFORMER & REACTORS
BHEL has proven expertise, technology and capability to design, manufacture, supply and commission Transformer & Reactors since more than six decades. BHEL has designed, manufactured and commissioned Transformer & Reactors ranging from unit capacity of 1 MVA to 500 MVA up to 765 kV Class both in India as well as abroad. Till date, BHEL has successfully supplied and commissioned more than 6000 nos. Transformer & Reactors totalling to capacity of more than 6000000 MVA.

BHEL has augmented its installed manufacturing capacity to 30000 MVA / 150 nos. Transformer & Reactors sets per year. Apart from supplying conventional Transformer & Reactors, BHEL is also designing, manufacturing and supplying products such as Controlled Shunt Reactors, Phase Shifting Transformers etc. BHEL is also Supplying newly designed Transformer & Reactors with uprated capacity for R&M projects both for BHEL as well as non-BHEL units . BHEL is also supplying O&M spares for smooth operations of all existing transmission infrastruture
